Preparations for the Tour de Hwange are going well. The riders are ready after weeks of hard training and are now very excited to participate in the event.
The group of riders call themselves the “Trotting Porkers” as in the beginning they took up riding to get into shape!
The floating trophy (below) is for the Porker (Rider) that makes the most money for the Park.
Apart from the riders paying their own way and encouraging their family and friends to support them we have also had support in cash and kind from various donors. Many of the donations have been food supplies as the riders will need to keep up their energy levels.
We are most grateful to all these sponsors and all the people who have kindly donated cash as our main objective is to raise money for the work we do in the Park.
